Description: The counter associated with the number of user signalling FIFO overflows; counter #24 of the ATM core; this counter is not relevant for the matrix board, the BBTS1C boards and for the BBTP3C boards.
What is adnAeiPortErUSFOFCounter?
This counter tracks overflows in the user signalling FIFO, which occurs when ATM control traffic destined for user systems arrives faster than it can be buffered. When this counter increments, control messages are dropped, potentially disrupting network management or quality-of-service operations. A value of 12 means 12 separate overflow events occurred, each dropping at least one control message.
