Description: The counter associated with the number of user FIFO write failures; counter #23 of the ATM core; this counter is not relevant for the matrix board, the BBTS1C boards and for the BBTP3C boards.
What is adnAeiPortErUFWFCounter?
This counter increments when the port cannot write user-side FIFO data, causing traffic buffered for the user side to be lost. Network engineers monitor this to ensure the user-side buffer mechanism is working correctly. A rising counter suggests either memory corruption or a failing FIFO controller on the card.
