Description: The counter associated with the number of network signalling FIFO read failures; counter #20 of the ATM core; this counter is not relevant for the matrix board, the BBTS1C boards and for the BBTP3C boards.
What is adnAeiPortErNSFRFCounter?
This counter tracks read failures from the network signalling FIFO, meaning the port cannot retrieve buffered ATM control traffic it previously stored. When this happens, ATM network management functions become unreliable or incomplete. An incrementing counter signals potential internal memory or FIFO controller hardware problems.
