Description: The counter associated with the number of network FIFO write failures; counter #18 of the ATM core; this counter is not relevant for the matrix board, the BBTS1C boards and for the BBTP3C boards.
What is adnAeiPortErNFWFCounter?
This counter increments when the port fails to write network-side FIFO data, usually due to internal hardware or memory problems. When write failures occur, ATM traffic from the network side is lost because it cannot be buffered. A single increment indicates a potential hardware issue that should be monitored closely before it worsens.
