What is adnAdjNumLines?

This OID stores the number of available logical lines or channels between the local node and this adjacent node. Network engineers care about this because it directly determines the maximum traffic capacity on the link and whether load-balancing is possible. For example, a value of 4 means there are 4 parallel channels available to distribute traffic across.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.8.27.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnAdjNumLines

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.8.27.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnAdjNumLines.1
