All MIBs › ACC-DHCP

Category: IP and Core Protocols, Vendor: ACC/Ericsson

Description: Manages DHCP server and relay configuration on ACC/Ericsson routers, including address pool definitions, lease times, and option configuration.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ACC-DHCP?

ACC-DHCP is a proprietary MIB from ACC (Advanced Computer Communications), exposing the DHCP server configuration and lease state on ACC's WAN access routers, keyed per IP interface. It covers server administrative/operational status, the configured address pool boundaries (start and end IP), lease duration, current lease count, and renewal counts. As a configuration/service-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm the DHCP server is operational on the intended interface and watch the current lease count against pool capacity to catch address-pool exhaustion. It is deployed on ACC routers acting as a local DHCP server for a connected LAN segment. Engineers can download the ACC-DHCP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ACC-DHCP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ACC (Advanced Computer Communications) WAN access routers

Monitoring Examples

An administrator compares accDhcpSrvLeaseCnt against the address range implied by accDhcpSrvStartIpAddr/accDhcpSrvEndIpAddr to see how close the pool is to exhaustion before new clients would fail to obtain a lease.

What Can Be Monitored

  • DHCP server admin/oper status per interface
  • current lease count vs. pool size
