What Is ZXR10-SUPERVLAN-MIB?

ZXR10-SUPERVLAN-MIB is a ZTE enterprise MIB module for the ZXR10 series switches/routers that manages the Super VLAN (VLAN aggregation) feature, used to conserve IP address space by aggregating multiple sub-VLANs under one supervlan sharing a single IP subnet. It exposes configuration objects for defining super VLANs, associating member sub-VLANs, and the IP-sharing/proxy-ARP relationship between them. As a monitoring resource it is used primarily to confirm the software configuration state of VLAN aggregation (which sub-VLANs are bound to which super VLAN) rather than hardware health, though correctly monitoring this state helps detect subscriber-access misconfiguration. It depends on standard VLAN/bridge conventions and ZTE's own VLAN MIBs to cross-reference VLAN identifiers. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 switches/routers in broadband access or metro-Ethernet networks to aggregate subscriber VLANs and conserve IP addressing, and the ZXR10-SUPERVLAN-MIB download lets administrators load it directly into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-SUPERVLAN-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10-series routers/switches (Super VLAN)

Monitoring Examples

No concrete object or table names were provided in sample_objects, so a specific polling scenario cannot be grounded in real objects. Based on the module description, an operator would generally check super VLAN-to-sub-VLAN association tables to confirm subscriber VLANs are properly aggregated under the shared supervlan IP subnet. This remains a general characterization since no object names were captured for this MIB.

What Can Be Monitored

  • sub-VLAN to super VLAN association
  • IP-sharing/proxy-ARP state
