Description: Manages Wellfleet TFTP server parameters, active transfers, and file access control configuration.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is Wellfleet-TFTP-MIB?

Wellfleet-TFTP-MIB is a Wellfleet router MIB that manages the device's built-in TFTP server, used for transferring configuration files and firmware images. It exposes configuration objects (server parameters, file access controls) and operational objects reporting active file transfers in progress. Its monitoring value lies in the software/service status of the TFTP server - confirming whether it is enabled, tracking active transfer sessions, and detecting a stalled or failed transfer during a firmware or configuration update. It is a self-contained vendor extension with no notable external MIB dependency. It is used in Wellfleet router deployments during firmware upgrades or configuration backup/restore operations initiated over the network. Engineers can download the Wellfleet-TFTP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Wellfleet-TFTP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Wellfleet/Bay Networks multiprotocol router

Monitoring Examples

No sample objects were provided for this module; generally an operator would poll the active-transfer objects during a firmware push to confirm a transfer is progressing and check access-control settings if a transfer is unexpectedly refused.

What Can Be Monitored

  • TFTP server enabled status
  • active transfer sessions
  • file access control configuration
