Unisphere-Data-ERX-System-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance MIB for the system component of the SNMP agent on Unisphere Networks' Edge Routing Switch (ERX) family of products (Unisphere was later acquired by Juniper Networks). Rather than defining runtime data objects, it declares which object groups and compliance statements from the corresponding ERX System MIB the agent implements, and to what extent. It has no direct role in hardware or software status monitoring itself; instead it is a meta-descriptive document used by management applications and MIB compilers to determine feature/object support before attempting to poll the actual ERX system MIB. It depends entirely on the underlying ERX System MIB it describes conformance for.
