Module: TIMETRA-QOS-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-QOS-MIB::tSapIngressFCHsmdaBCastQueue

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.16.3.7.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TIngressHsmdaQueueId

Access: read-create

Description:

The value of the object tSapIngressFCHsmdaBCastQueue specifies the broadcast queue to use for packets in this forwarding class. This mapping will be used when the SAP is on a HSMDA MDA. A value of zero implies that the default queues should be used.

This object is obsoleted in 10.0 Release.

What is tSapIngressFCHsmdaBCastQueue?

This object (now obsolete as of software release 10.0) specifies which broadcast queue should handle broadcast traffic in a given forwarding class when the SAP is on high-speed line card hardware. A broadcast queue is a dedicated buffer for packets meant for multiple destinations, and mapping it per forwarding class allows quality-of-service prioritization. This attribute was used to tune broadcast traffic performance on older platforms.
