Description: The Robustness Variable allows tuning for the expected packet loss on a subnet. If a subnet is expected to be lossy, the Robustness Variable may be increased. IGMP is robust to (Robustness Variable-1) packet losses.
What is vRtrIgmpGenRobustCount?
The Robustness Variable (default 2, range 2-10) that tunes IGMP for expected packet loss on the subnet; IGMP tolerates (Robustness-1) lost packets, so an admin raises it on a lossy LAN to avoid prematurely aging out groups.
