Description: Defines Teldat router FLT (filter) event trap notifications.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is TELDAT-TRAP-FLT-MIB?

TELDAT-TRAP-FLT-MIB is a Teldat, S.A. proprietary MIB defining SNMP notifications generated by the FLT (filter) event subsystem on Teldat routers. Its varbind objects cover structure type, filter/packet offset, allocated cache-entry count, and system-name fields for four notification levels, referenced by seven numbered fltNotification traps. As a notification MIB it lets an administrator receive detailed filter-subsystem event alerts (offset, cache allocation) from a Teldat router's packet-filtering engine. It is deployed on Teldat, S.A. routers. Engineers can download the TELDAT-TRAP-FLT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-TRAP-FLT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Teldat, S.A. routers

Monitoring Examples

An administrator investigates an fltNotification3 trap and reads flt3-cache-entries-allocated to diagnose a filter cache-allocation event on a Teldat router.
