What Is TELDAT-TRAP-SRVP-MIB?

TELDAT-TRAP-SRVP-MIB is a Teldat vendor MIB defining trap notifications for the router's SRVP (RSVP-style resource reservation) event subsystem, part of Teldat's QoS/traffic engineering feature set. It exposes only notification data — a series of numbered event variants (srvp1 through srvp7) carrying the reservation class name, interface name, protocol type, and ACL number tied to a reservation event, with no separate configuration or counter tables. Its purpose is monitoring the health of QoS/resource reservation software on the router: which interface and traffic class experienced a reservation change, and which protocol or access list was involved, useful for catching reservation failures or unexpected QoS class changes. It works alongside standard RSVP/QoS MIBs and Teldat's proprietary trap infrastructure rather than being self-contained. It is typically deployed on Teldat routers in networks using bandwidth reservation for voice/video traffic, monitored via an SNMP trap receiver. Network engineers evaluating or troubleshooting this functionality can download the TELDAT-TRAP-SRVP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-TRAP-SRVP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Teldat routers
  • Teldat WAN/branch access routers

Monitoring Examples

srvp1-class-name and srvp1-interface-name identify which QoS class and interface triggered a reservation event, while srvp3-prtcl-type and srvp3-acl-num tie the event to a specific protocol and access-control list. An operator watching srvpNotifications would flag repeated events on the same interface-name as a sign of unstable resource reservations on that link, for example a VoIP class repeatedly failing to reserve bandwidth. As with other Teldat trap MIBs, there are no polled counters — all visibility comes from the notification stream.

What Can Be Monitored

  • RSVP/QoS reservation class events
  • interface associated with reservation change
  • protocol type of the event
  • ACL number tied to the event
  • reservation failure alerts
