Description: Defines Teldat router CELL (cellular interface) event trap notifications.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is TELDAT-TRAP-CELL-MIB?

TELDAT-TRAP-CELL-MIB is a Teldat, S.A. proprietary MIB defining SNMP notifications generated by the CELL (cellular/3G/4G modem) event subsystem on Teldat routers with cellular WAN interfaces. Its varbind objects cover per-interface info/error strings, cell state, operator, location-area code and cell ID, radio technology, RSSI level, RSCP/EcNo level, SIM-socket status, call-state string/number, and firmware release, each referenced by a numbered cellN-* notification. As a notification MIB it lets an administrator receive detailed cellular-modem state-change alerts (signal level, operator, call state) from a Teldat router's cellular interface. It is deployed on Teldat, S.A. routers with cellular WAN interfaces. Engineers can download the TELDAT-TRAP-CELL-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-TRAP-CELL-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Teldat, S.A. routers (cellular WAN interfaces)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator investigates a cell7 notification and reads cell7-rssi-level to diagnose a weak cellular signal on a Teldat router's cellular WAN interface.
