Category: Remote Access and Serial WAN, Teldat Router Management
Description: Monitors Teldat router ISDN interface B-channel and D-channel status, call state, and signaling counters.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is TELDAT-MON-INTERF-ISDN-MIB?
The TELDAT-MON-INTERF-ISDN-MIB is a vendor-specific monitoring module for ISDN interfaces on Teldat routers, covering both B-channel (bearer) and D-channel (signaling) circuits. It exposes per-channel operational/call state, active call information, and signaling error counters for ISDN BRI/PRI interfaces. Its emphasis is on monitoring the operational hardware/link status of the ISDN interface — whether B-channels are idle, dialing, or connected, and whether D-channel signaling is healthy — critical for detecting failed call setups or a down ISDN line used for backup WAN connectivity. It is conceptually related to (though not a direct extension of) the standard IF-MIB and dial-control MIB models used elsewhere for dial interface state. Typical deployment is on Teldat routers using ISDN as a primary or backup WAN link, monitored to confirm dial-backup availability and call quality. Engineers can download the TELDAT-MON-INTERF-ISDN-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-MON-INTERF-ISDN-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Teldat router/gateway (ISDN interface)
Monitoring Examples
No sample objects were provided for this module; based on its description, it would expose per-channel B-channel and D-channel status, active call state, and signaling error counters in tables keyed by ISDN interface/channel, which an operator would poll to detect failed call setups or D-channel signaling loss on an ISDN line.

| telProdNpMonIfcIsdnLibCausesTable | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.2.3.1.6 | not-accessible | Table of call release reasons. It allows to translate the call release reasons from a numeric code that appears in the information about released calls to indicate the release reason. | |
| telProdNpMonIfcIsdnLibCausesEntry | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.2.3.1.6.1 | not-accessible | Each entry is related to a possible reason for call releasing. It has a number that references the reasons and from this number we can know the reason why the call was released (table index), and the release reason itself that can be derived from the interpretation of the numeric code given by the index. | |
| INT telProdNpMonIfcIsdnLibCausesIndex | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.2.3.1.6.1.1 | INTEGER | read-only | Table index: numeric code that appears inside the information about released calls and that is used to derive the release reason. |
| STR telProdNpMonIfcIsdnLibCausesDisplay | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.2.3.1.6.1.2 | DisplayString | read-only | Call Release Reason determined by the numeric code given by the index. It is the real information contained in the table about released calls. The correspondence between the numeric code and the cause is as follows: (1) No attributed number, (3) No route to destiny, (6) Unacceptable channel, (7) Call over already established channel, (16) Normal Call Release, (17) Busy user, (18) User do not answer, (19) Warned user. No answer from user, (21) Refused call, (22) Changed number, (27) Destiny out of service, (28) Non valid number format, (31) Normal release, (34) Non available circuit or channel, (38) Network out of service, (41) Temporal failure, (42) Congestion in conmutation node, (44) Circuit demanded or not available channel, (47) Not available resources, (49) Non available quality of service, (57) Non authorized carrier capacity, (58) Non available carrier capacity, (63) Non available service class or option, (65) Non performed carrier capacity, (66) Non performed channel type, (79) Non performed service or option, (81) Non valid call reference value, (82) Non-existent identified channel, (88) Incompatible destiny, (95) Non valid message, (96) Mandatory information element missing, (97) Type of missing message, (98) Missing or not implanted message, (99) Information element missing, (100) Non valid information element content, (101) Incompatible message with call state, (102) Recovery after temporizer expiration, (111) Protocol error, (127) Interworking. |
RFC description
Teldat ISDN interface monitoring MIB; manages ISDN channel monitoring, call statistics, and interface performance on Teldat routing platforms.
Start monitoring Teldat router/gateway, ISDN interface (B/D-channel call/signaling status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
