What Is SRM-MIB?

SRM-MIB is a private MIB (imports BASIS-MIB, consistent with a channel-bank/multiplexer platform) configuring SRM (Sub-Rate Multiplexing) distribution of DS3/T3 lines into constituent T1/VT circuits. Its 3T3 configuration-group table maps each T3 line to its starting T1 line number and target slot/line, with row status, alongside a parallel 'e' (electrical/VT) configuration-group table including VT framing type. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm which T1/VT circuits a given T3 line has been sub-rate-multiplexed into and where they're routed. It is deployed on this vendor's channel-bank/multiplexer platform. Engineers can download the SRM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SRM-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
