Description: Manages D-Link source IP interface binding configuration for management traffic on D-Link devices.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is SRC-IPIF-MIB?
SRC-IPIF-MIB is a D-Link proprietary MIB configuring source-interface binding on D-Link managed switches (built on the vendor's DLINK-ID-REC-MIB SMI, with IPv6 support). Its source-interface table, keyed by index, records the interface type, row status, name, and bound IPv4/IPv6 address. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm which source IP address a switch will use for outgoing management or protocol traffic on a given interface. It is deployed on D-Link managed switches. Engineers can download the SRC-IPIF-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SRC-IPIF-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- D-Link managed switches
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks swSrcIpIfIPAddr to confirm a D-Link switch is using the intended source IP address for outgoing syslog or SNMP-trap traffic.
What Can Be Monitored
- source interface IPv4/IPv6 address binding
