ERICSSON-SNF-TOP-MIB is a top-level registration MIB that establishes the root OID arc under which all Ericsson Service Node Framework (SNF) MIB modules are organized. As an infrastructure/registration module it defines no operational data objects of its own; it simply provides the namespace anchor that other Ericsson SNF-specific MIBs (covering interfaces, environment, performance, faults, etc.) attach beneath. Consequently it contributes nothing directly to hardware or software status monitoring - that role belongs to the child MIBs registered under this tree. Its only dependency is the broader Ericsson enterprise OID arc under which it is itself registered.
