This object specifies the primary B-VLAN (backbone VLAN) number assigned to a Shortest Path Bridging with Multicast (SPBM) node in an IS-IS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System) routing topology. The B-VLAN number identifies which virtual LAN carries the SPB forwarding plane traffic. Network designers configure and monitor this to manage SPB node topology and ensure correct multicast service delivery.
