Description:
The value to be placed in the router lifetime field of router advertisements sent from this interface. This value MUST be either 0 or between rcIpv6RouterAdvertMaxInterval and 9000 seconds.
A value of zero indicates that the router is not to be used as a default router.
The default is 3 * rcIpv6RouterAdvertMaxInterval. REFERENCE RFC2461 Section 6.2.1
What is rcIpv6RouterAdvertDefaultLifeTime?
This object sets the IPv6 router lifetime value advertised in Router Advertisement messages, indicating for how long the router should be considered a valid default gateway (0-9000 seconds). IPv6 hosts use router advertisements to discover default gateways; a value of 0 means the device should not be used as a default router. Operators configure this based on network topology and failover requirements to control host routing decisions.
