Description:

The time (in milliseconds) a neighbor is considered reachable after receiving a reachability confirmation. REFERENCE RFC2461, Section 6.3.2

What is rcIpv6InterfaceReachableTime?

This object specifies the time in milliseconds that a neighboring IPv6 device is considered reachable after the interface receives a reachability confirmation, as defined in IPv6 neighbor discovery protocol (RFC 2461). An operator would use this parameter to tune the responsiveness of IPv6 neighbor discovery and optimize the balance between detecting down neighbors and avoiding excessive protocol traffic. A shorter value detects link failures faster but increases protocol overhead.
