Description:
Used to indicate whether or not to use the user specified default metric for redistributing RIP routes to OSPF.
What is rcIpRoutingRedistributeRipToOspfUseExplicitMetric?
This OID controls whether the device uses a manually-configured metric value when copying routes from one routing protocol (RIP) to another (OSPF). Enabling this ensures routes have predictable priorities in multi-protocol networks. A network admin would enable this to override automatic metrics and force preferred routes.
