Description: Used to indicate whether directly connected networks through non-ospf interfaces are distributed to OSPF database or not. If set to true all the static routes will be added as external routes to OSPF routing domain, provided the router is configured as AS Border router. Also originates asExtern link LSA.

What is rcIpRoutingRedistributeDirectToOspfEnable?

This configuration parameter controls whether directly connected networks reachable through non-OSPF interfaces are advertised into the OSPF routing domain as external routes when the router acts as an AS Border Router. When enabled, static routes through direct connections are published to OSPF peers, allowing other routers to learn about these external networks. Network administrators use this setting to inject internal static routes or non-OSPF connected networks into an OSPF area.
