This field controls whether a specific RIP (Routing Information Protocol) routing policy entry is active, inactive, or being created/deleted in the device. RIP is a dynamic routing protocol that allows routers to exchange network topology information. An operator uses this to enable, disable, or manage routing policy rules without restarting the entire routing system.
