What is rcIpPimGlobalStaticRP?
This object enables or disables the Static Rendezvous Point (RP) feature for PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast) in the system. When enabled, multicast trees are built toward statically configured RP addresses rather than discovered dynamically. An operator uses this in environments with small, stable multicast groups where manual RP configuration is more predictable than dynamic discovery.
