What is rcIpFilterNextHopUnreachableDropEnable?

This boolean control enables or disables dropping packets when their configured next-hop gateway is unreachable on a Rapid City router. Network engineers configure it to choose between silently discarding unreachable traffic or allowing default routing fallback. Setting it to 'true' ensures the device drops packets destined for offline gateways rather than sending them to a less-preferred default route.
