Description:

Used to specify what the value of the DSCP should be modified to if this stream is identified. The modification is applied at the egress point. The DSCP represents the high-order 6 bits of the TOS byte (in network order).

What is rcIpFilterMediaStreamRemarkDscp?

This holds a text string (up to 6 characters) specifying what DSCP value should be assigned to identified media streams. When packets matching a media stream filter exit the device, their DSCP bits get rewritten to this value, affecting QoS treatment downstream. An operator would set this to '101011' to mark VoIP traffic for priority handling across the WAN.
