Description:
This parameter defines the route discard timeout in seconds.
What is rcIpDvmrpGlobalRouteSwitchTimeOut?
This object defines the route discard timeout value in seconds for DVMRP (Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol) route entries. When a route expires without refreshed advertisements after this timeout, it is removed from the routing table. An operator would adjust this to balance convergence speed against the stability of multicast routes.
