Description:
The metric for this type of service (TOS) on this interface. The default value of the TOS 0 Metric is (10^9 / ifSpeed). The value FFFF means 'no route via this TOS'. A value of 0 means the interface speed (rcIpConfOspfV2DefaultMetric) will be used as metric value, when the state of the interface is up.
What is rcIpConfOspfV2Metric?
This object configures the cost (metric) used by OSPF version 2 routing protocol on a network interface for a specific type of service class. The metric influences route selection priorities; lower values are preferred. Operators adjust this metric to steer traffic away from congested links or to match specific network performance requirements.
