What is rcIpBgpTmpPeerAfInUpdates?
This OID counts how many Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) UPDATE messages have arrived from a neighboring router during BGP negotiations. Monitoring this counter tells you the frequency of route changes being announced from that neighbor; high values might indicate network instability. A network admin watches this to ensure BGP peers are communicating route updates and detects if a peer suddenly stops sending updates.
