Description:
Enabling this attribute allows a BGP speaker (the local router) to send the default route 0.0.0.0 to the group of neighbors for use as a default route.
What is rcIpBgpPeerGroupDefaultOriginate?
This enabling flag allows a BGP speaker (local router) to advertise the 0.0.0.0 default route to a group of peer neighbors for use as a fallback default gateway. An operator would enable this on BGP speakers that serve as default gateways to ensure downstream networks always have a default route available for traffic destined outside the local domain.
