Description:
Used to enable or disable logging and sending of snmp trap, once MAC learning limit is reached for the port.
What is rcBridgeFdbProtectViolationLogTrap?
This object enables or disables both logging and SNMP trap generation when the MAC learning limit is reached on a switch port. It controls alerting mechanisms when a port's MAC address table becomes full. A network administrator would enable this to be notified of potential port security violations or unusual MAC flooding, allowing quick response to network attacks or misconfiguration.
