What is rc2kAtm1483ElanInArpSendEnable?
This read-write object controls whether ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) requests are sent on an ATM 802.3 ELAN connection when the port type is configured for IP connectivity. Disabling ARP sending reduces broadcast traffic on the connection. An administrator toggles this to optimize VLAN bridging behavior on ATM interfaces.
