What Is RADLAN-LLDP-MIB?
RADLAN-LLDP-MIB is a small vendor-specific MIB from Radlan Computer Communications (now part of Marvell, historically used in white-label/embedded switch ASIC firmware) that extends the standards-based LLDP-MIB. In its current source, it defines just a single object, rlLldpEnabled, a global read-write switch that enables or disables the LLDP feature (both transmit and receive) for the whole device, working alongside the standard lldpPortConfigAdminStatus object to determine per-port LLDP behavior. A second object for setting the local chassis ID appears in the source but is commented out and not implemented in this revision, so despite the module's name it does not itself expose neighbor discovery tables (those live in the standard LLDP-MIB, e.g. lldpRemTable) — its role here is purely the vendor's global on/off switch. It depends on the RADLAN-MIB (for the rnd enterprise OID arc) and RADLAN-SNMPv2 (for TruthValue), and it is deployed on Radlan-derived embedded switch management agents (including some Marvell-based OEM switches) that layer this control on top of the IEEE 802.1AB LLDP-MIB. Administrators scripting LLDP toggling on such switches can consult the RADLAN-LLDP-MIB download to confirm the exact object and OID to set.

Monitoring Examples
An operator sets rlLldpEnabled to false to globally disable LLDP transmit/receive across a Radlan-based switch, then polls it to confirm the change took effect; if rlLldpEnabled reads true but neighbors still aren't appearing in the standard LLDP-MIB tables, the per-port lldpPortConfigAdminStatus setting is likely the actual blocker.
