Description:
The minimum absolute rate, in kbps, that should be allocated to this queue. If the value is zero, then there is effectively no minimum rate guarantee. If the value is non-zero, then the servicing of this queue in at least this rate is assured.
Note that when this attribute is being used, the wfqWeightValue attribute is NA.
What is wfqMinRateAbsolute?
This OID holds the minimum bandwidth guarantee in kilobits per second for a queue on a network interface. WFQ (Weighted Fair Queuing) ensures important traffic like voice calls gets priority even under congestion. A QoS engineer would set this to guarantee voice packets a minimum 100 kbps even if video traffic is consuming most available bandwidth.
