sysCRdnSequenceNumberThreshold

Module: RAD-MIB

OID (symbolic): RAD-MIB::sysCRdnSequenceNumberThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.3.1.6.3.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-create

Description: This parameter determines the number of Sequence Number errors that should occur in the time window in order to cause switching.

What is sysCRdnSequenceNumberThreshold?

This OID sets a numeric threshold for how many packet sequence errors must occur before the system switches to a backup connection. Changing this determines how sensitive the failover is: lower values trigger faster switching but may cause instability; higher values are more stable but slower to detect real failures. An engineer tunes this based on network reliability and tolerance for service interruption.
