Description:
The indication of whether this entity is acting as an IPX gateway in respect to the forwarding of datagrams received by, but not addressed to, this entity. IPX gateways forward datagrams. IPX hosts do not. Note that changing this parameter requiers RESET of the router.
What is radBridgeIPXForwarding?
This object indicates whether a RAD router is configured to act as an IPX gateway that forwards datagrams not addressed to itself. When enabled, the device forwards routed IPX packets between network segments; when disabled, it acts as an IPX host only. Changing this parameter requires a router reset to take effect, so operators must plan changes carefully to avoid service disruptions.
