What is optPrtCnfgALS?
This read-write object enables or disables the Automatic Laser Shutdown feature on an optical port. When enabled, the laser automatically shuts down during link faults to prevent excessive optical power transmission. Operators use this to prevent laser damage during port failures or fiber breaks.
