What is ip2IfOAM?

This object configures Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) connectivity for an IP interface, with the least significant bit controlling whether OAM is enabled or disabled. OAM mechanisms allow operators to test network connectivity, monitor link status, and diagnose transmission problems on IP links. An operator would enable this to activate fault detection and path tracing tools on the interface.
