Description:

Number of frames that arrived in the current interval at a delay variation greater than the threshold value defined for the service.

What is ethOamSvcCurrFramesAboveDVarThresh?

This counter measures the number of Ethernet frames received in the current interval with delay variation (jitter) exceeding the configured threshold for a monitored service. Delay variation thresholds are defined per service to detect quality degradation. An operator monitors this to identify when network latency becomes inconsistent, which can impact real-time applications like voice and video.
