Description:
The number of times the associated ethOamServiceFrameLoss counter has overflowed.
What is ethOamServiceOverflowFrameLoss?
This counter tracks how many times the primary frame-loss counter for an Ethernet OAM service has reached its maximum value and wrapped around. When the main frame-loss counter overflows, this overflow counter increments by one, allowing operators to track total frame losses that exceed a 32-bit counter's range. Operators monitor both this and the primary counter together to calculate actual frame loss rates over time.
