Description: This parameter defines whether to send multicast message to WAN from LAN or not.
What is ethMulticastBlock?
This OID controls whether multicast messages broadcast from the local network (LAN) are allowed to travel to the wide-area network (WAN) connection. Blocking prevents unnecessary WAN congestion; allowing enables cross-site multicast services. Network operators enable or disable this based on whether branch offices need to receive multicast streams from headquarters.
