Description:

This parameter defines whether to support Jumbo Frame or not.

What is ethJumboFrameEnable?

This configuration parameter controls whether the RAD device supports Jumbo Frames (Ethernet frames larger than the standard 1500-byte maximum transmission unit) on Ethernet interfaces. Enabling jumbo frames increases throughput for large data transfers but requires all devices on the network segment to support the feature. Network engineers configure this to optimize performance for bandwidth-intensive applications when all connected devices support larger frame sizes.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.1.6.1.1.1.16
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RAD-MIB::ethJumboFrameEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.1.6.1.1.1.16.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RAD-MIB::ethJumboFrameEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.1.6.1.1.1.16.1 i <value>
