Description:
This object indicates the Ethernet Ring operational status.
What is ethIfRingOperStatus?
This OID shows whether an Ethernet ring topology is operating correctly or has a failure. Rings are backup paths in network design where traffic loops back if the primary link fails. An operator checks this to verify the network can still function if a primary link goes down.
