Description:
The number of times the associated ethIfIntervalInFrames counter has overflowed in the interval.
What is ethIfIntervalOverflowInFrames?
This gauge measures how many times the incoming frame counter for a network interface has rolled over (overflowed) during the current monitoring interval. When a 32-bit frame counter reaches its maximum value, it wraps around to zero, and this object tracks those occurrences to help compute the actual total frame count. Network managers use this to accurately calculate received frame statistics when monitoring high-traffic interfaces.
