Description:
The counter associated with the number of dropped frames due to a congestion, encountered by the Transmit direction to the Ethernet interface in the interval.
What is ethIfIntervalOutputCongestionDropped?
This counter measures the number of frames discarded from the transmit side of an Ethernet interface during a monitoring interval due to output congestion or buffer overflow. It tracks packets dropped when the port's queue is full and cannot accept additional traffic. Operators use this to identify bottlenecked interfaces and determine when capacity upgrades or traffic policing adjustments are needed.
