Description:
The index of the Ethernet interface. It may be ifIndex. For some devices (e.g RICi-622GE), supporting several types of intervals, this index will be a concatenation of the port index and interval type. Interval type can indicate: 1 minute, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours. For the exact formula, see device specification.
What is ethIfIntervalIndex?
This object uniquely identifies an Ethernet interface within the context of a specific time interval (1-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, or 24-hour) in performance monitoring tables. For some RAD devices like the RICi-622GE, the index is a concatenation of port index and interval type, requiring operators to understand the device-specific formula. This index allows retrieval of separate statistics for each observation interval.
