Description:

What is ethIfIntervalInOctets?
This read-only gauge counter measures the total number of octets (bytes) received by an Ethernet interface during a sampling interval. It tracks inbound data volume without wrapping like a 32-bit counter. An operator uses this metric to monitor incoming bandwidth utilization and detect changes in traffic patterns.
