What is atmAceAlarmPlcpYELLOW?

This OID is a trap alert sent when an ATM T3 line's PLCP layer detects a yellow alarm condition. Yellow alarm means the remote end detected a problem and is warning the local device. A network operator would receive this alert to investigate the T3 line connection for signal quality issues or equipment failures at the far end.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RAD-MIB::atmAceAlarmPlcpYELLOW
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.6.1.12.0.31

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
