This trap indicates Path Far End Block Error.
What is atmAceAlarmPathFEBE?
This notification trap indicates that a Path Far End Block Error (FEBE) has been detected on an ATM link, signaling corrupted or lost data blocks received from the remote end. The trap is triggered when the remote ATM device detects transmission errors and sends an FEBE indication back. An operator uses this alert to diagnose line quality issues on ATM circuits and investigate whether remote equipment or physical layer problems are degrading the connection.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RAD-MIB::atmAceAlarmPathFEBE snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.6.1.12.0.29
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
